„Dissociative Disorders“ –
4-day „online-LIVE“-training with
Lisa Schwarz in Cologne!
Lisa Schwarz (USA), developer of the Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM) shares her over-20-year-experience in treatment of clients with dissociative disorders.
- How do I even recognize such clients?
- What resources, skills and attitude do I need as a therapist in these cases?
- How do I manage to handle this "difficult" group of clients?
- What do I give my patients in their everyday lives?
as well as questions & answers, cases, live demonstrations...
Born out of necessity… this kind of training provides the unique chance to participate in trainings that rarely take place outside of the US! As usual, the training will happen in a large seminar room. Lisa will join the room - LIVE for 4 days – via videoconference. An excellent sound and a big screen bring Lisa directly into the room. Microphones and cameras enable interactive communication. There will be also LIVE demonstrations. Participants can ask questions, describe cases and exchange ideas. They will be able to network in this especially enriching international seminar class. The training is hosted by German CRM trainers.

„I was very upset, when I heard that Lisa was not coming to Cologne as expected. Now I have been to the seminar, even though it was "only" online. It was FAR better than I expected. With all the technical support supplied by Suzan and Tomris, I can fully recommend online training with Lisa.“ M., Darmstadt

This training will provide a general overview of the clinical course of treatment for severely dissociative clients and provides specific interventions for creating internal co-operation, co-consciousness, and cooperation between parts of self which is the primary goal of this type of work.
In addition, a variety of grounding skills and ego state interventions will be discussed as well as working with perpetrator and protective alters. Suggestions for maintaining therapeutic boundaries and relationship will also be addressed. In the context of the actual trauma processing work, there is a focus on creating the capacity for remaining fully grounded in the present moment during the work. Basic Resourcing skills will be taught which create the neurological brain scaffolding that allows for in session and between session grounding, internal nurturing, ego state self-regulation, and strength-based coping strategies. This allows severely dissociative clients to work through their trauma histories in a way the does not re-traumatize them.
CRM psycho-education and skills building empower these clients to be able to stay fully present in their bodies during their trauma work as well as enhancing internal resources for easy access outside of session. Class consists of didactic education, demonstrations, case consultations.
